Zwane to face his former team

Moroka Swallows winger Japhet Zwane is looking forward to putting one over his former team Golden Arrows when the two teams meet in a Castle Premiership match at Germiston Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

But Zwane, who was released by Arrows to join the 'Birds' earlier this season, insists that he does not have any hard feelings towards 'Abafana Bes'thende'.

"I enjoyed my stay at Arrows and they treated me well, but I'm with Swallows now and my loyalty lies with the 'Beautiful Birds'," Zwane told the Swallows official website.

He added: "We want to finish as high up the log as possible and in order for us to do that we have to win games, especially our home games.

"Arrows are the tough side to beat as they proved against Kaizer Chiefs, but coach Gavin Hunt has prepared us well for them. We are ready for whatever they will throw at us.

"We plan to close them down quickly and not allow them any sight on goals because they have deadly strikers like Mabhuti Khanyeza who can punish us if we give them space."

Zwane also urged the Swallows supporters to come in their numbers to support the team.

He concluded: "Our supporters are our twelfth man and with them cheering us in the stands, nothing can stop us."
