Season's Greetings from Swallows

As the Absa Premiership reaches the halfway mark, and the festive fever reaches its climax, Moroka Swallows General Manager Sipho Xulu has extended a festive message to all 'Birds' supporters!

The 'Beautiful Birds', with 22 points from 15 matches, currently occupy a respectable fifth position on the Absa Premiership standings, four points behind log leaders Ajax Cape Town.

Xulu told morokaswallows.co.za: "We wish to extend a word of appreciation to all our fans, football fraternity and community at large.

"We wish to thank them for their support as they have contributed to our success as a club.

"We wish that they could rest during the break and enjoy a blessed Christmas and New Year full of festivities!"

Swallows return to action in the Premiership on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 against Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates, at the Germiston Stadium (kick-off 3.30pm).
