'Injury Time' with Dr E - 25/10/07

George Hummel goes down with what could be another long term injury following a recurrence of a previously healed fracture, whilst Tebogo Monyai's return is stalled by a sudden swelling of his right knee.

   Operation: Done October 2, 2007.
Expected recovery date: Late January 2008.

Operations: - Open reduction and internal fixation of right tibia (leg bone) following a fracture in Jan 2007.
                  - Chondroplasty(arthroscopy) right knee in April 2007.
                  - Right groin operation(Gilmores' groin) in April 2007.
Has been doing individual training for the past 2-3 weeks.
Accidentally twisted his right knee in the gym on October 23, with a resultant swelling thereof.

6. George Hummel:
He had a right tibia operation late 2006 following a troublesome stress fracture.
Played the last seven league matches of the previous season, and has been training/playing this season without any adverse effects.
Started complaining of persistent right leg pains and a subsequent X-Ray done yesterday revealed a recurrence of the old fracture.
