Gorowa - 'Strikers need time'
Moroka Swallows coach Ian Gorowa believes it is just a matter of time before his prolific strike force delivers the goods for the 'Beautiful Birds' this season.
The 'Dube Birds' are playing good football this season and are dominating their opponents, but have not been converting all of their numerous chances into goals.
Swallows have managed just three goals in five league matches played so far, but new coach Gorowa is not panicking yet.
"It will take time for the new strikers to adjust to their new environment and get an understanding between, firstly, themselves and also between themselves and the rest of their team-mates," said Gorowa.
But the Swallows coach added: "I must say that there is some progress though, it is just a question of turning the corner. We've started off well in the League with three draws, but I guess we could have done better.
"Having said that, I still think we can push all the way and win the league."
One striker who has not seen much game time this season is youngster Thulani Ngcepe, but Gorowa had a simple, yet important, explanation for that.
"Thulani has been out of action because he has been concentrating on his school work," said the Swallows boss.
"I believe very much in education and don't want to disturb him - he certainly has a bright future at Swallows."
