'Birds' Mayoyo heads for Dynamos

Moroka Swallows have confirmed that assistant coach Innocent Mayoyo will be leaving the 'Dube Birds' to take up a post at National First Division side Dynamos, as the club's new head coach.

"Mayoyo wants to work closer to his family and the Dynamos job will afford him this opportunity to be near to them," Swallows General Manager Sipho Xulu told the club's official website.

Xulu continued: "We are still waiting for him to send a formal letter to us before we can finalise anything, but it is a norm at Swallows not to stand in the way of other people's progress. For that reason, we don't intend on standing in Mayoyo's way of becoming a head coach.

"We would, however, miss his contribution to the team as he has served us well since taking up the position of assistant coach. We thank him for his contribution and wish him all the best in his future endeavours."

Bevan is staying in the nest! Your views?

Great news - we can continue to build around him!
Wonderful, but there is too much pressure on him.
It doesn't matter, as I was already resigned to losing him...
