'Birds' Reserves tackle Cosmos

Moroka Swallows' Reserves will be looking to bounce back to winning ways when they take on Jomo Cosmos at Germiston Stadium this afternoon (kick-off 3pm).

The 'Birds' were unlucky to lose 3-2 to Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates last Monday, having looked the better team, only to be let down by poor finishing.

With the Swallows senior team not playing this weekend due to Absa Cup semi-final commitments, the 'Birds' are likely to field a strong team against 'Ezenkosi', as coach Gavin Hunt looks to give his fringe players some game time ahead of the season finale.

The likes of Thulane Ngcephe, Sibusiso Themba, Evans Gwekwerere, Jabulani Mendu, Patrick Thwala and Mame Niang are likely to feature for Swallows in the Cosmos game.

Fans have been urged to come to the stadium to watch the 'Beautiful Birds' in action.
