'Birds' out for revenge
Moroka Swallows captain Goodman Mazibuko is confident that the 'Birds' will turn the tables on BidVest Wits when the two sides meet in a crunch Castle Premiership match at BidVest Stadium on Sunday afternoon (kick-off 3.45pm).
The 'Beautiful Birds' were hammered 4-0 by 'The Students' the last time the two teams met, but the inspirational Mazibuko insists that Swallows will emerge victorious this time around.
"We gave away four soft goals against Wits last time, and in return we did not take the chances that came our way," Mazibuko told the official Swallows website.
He added: "This time we are prepared for them. We will go all-out on attack from the word go and we will bury them.
"Wits have been having a poor run of form lately and we want to capitalise on that. We want to pounce on them while they are still vulnerable.
"But having said that, it will be stupid of us to think we will walk all over Wits. They are still a very good team."
His confidence aside, Mazibuko, however, revealed that he was doubtful for Sunday's encounter, along with Tsweu Mokoro.
"Besides the two of us and the usual suspects like Bjorn Gugger, Momammed Ouseb and Tebogo Monyai, coach Gavin Hunt has a full squad to choose from," reported Mazibuko.
"Judging from the high morale in the camp, I'm confident that whoever gets the nod on Sunday will do the job for us."
