Moroka Swallows concluded negotiations with former Rubin Kazan midfielder MacBeth Sibaya. The player was signed to the club on Thursday.
Born in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal on 25 November 1977, Ntuthuko MacBeth-Mao Sibaya is a welcome boost to the squad. Sibaya is a regular for the South African National football team, having amassed a total of 52 caps.
He made his debut for Bafana Bafana eight years ago in a FIFA World Cup qualifier against Malawi. He was part of the final squads at both the 2002 and 210 World Cups.
Sibaya will help the club to avoid relegation at the end of the season. Despite their second from bottom place on the PSL table at present, the team has shown promising signs of improvement since coach Gordon Igesund took charge of the team.
We wish MacBeth welcome to the Birds' Nest and look forward to having him as part of the Birds' family.
